Inner Peace and the Old Game of Ego

Transcript

We are born into this world as slaves of capitalism, and we are not free. In exchange for food, clothing, shelter, and other basic human rights as our current technology allows, we are forced to work for what should be ours by birthright. We are citizens of this planet, and our freedom has been held ransom by a fear-based belief system.

I often feel like a time traveler who has come back to a world that is still at war, filled with so much chaos and suffering. This is not the way humanity is supposed to live. People say that drama and adversity is human nature, but it is not. It is fear-based conditioning, the illusion of separation.

There is never a righteous reason for war or inequality. That is only a product of greed and disease, and that is a learned behavior, an indoctrinated belief system.

Humanity’s true nature is peaceful and utopian. It is what our species is meant for.

The 3D game is based on abundance versus scarcity. Success versus failure. It is dualistic, but true human nature is not dualistic.

Inner peace is simple. There is no drama, no suffering, no need or want. When you are in a state of inner peace, you are satisfied with simply being, existing as you are.

But that’s not what we’re taught. We’re taught that we are imperfect beings and that something external is the answers to our problems. We are not taught to be satisfied with who we are as individuals. There is always some material want or accomplishment to achieve, because we, by ourselves, are never good enough.

Well, I’m telling you that we are good enough. Those other things are luxuries. They do not make us who we are as people.

And once you can understand this concept for yourself, you will see the dualistic game of abundance versus scarcity disappear, because it will not have a hold on you any longer. You will not be its prisoner, and you will have access to a whole new game to play, one based on fun, rather than achievement.

I remember back in high school I played JV baseball and ended up with the highest batting average on the team at the end of the season, but I quit the team after that year, because, despite my success, I didn’t have fun. Playing baseball went from being my greatest joy to a chore, and all of the fun was sucked right out of it, because it was more about winning than actually playing the game. And once I realized that, I knew it was time for me to let it go, because what was once just a game that was played for fun turned into a pissing match of egos, even to the point of fights breaking out on the field. These men who were supposed to act like adults were still children inside, and it’s no different off the field in the real world.

Whether its politics or business or war, men and women who are supposed to be adults are still children inside, because they’ve never moved on from the old game, the pissing match of egos, and unfortunately these people are the ones who have the most control over the countries of this planet, as they are the ones who seek power the most.

A cruel joke, isn’t it?

We ask, where are all the good people? Why are all the people in leadership positions always rotten and corrupt? Because the good people don’t seek power over others. They don’t desire conquest, because that is not human nature. As I said, human nature is inner peace, it is to be good, not to be a conqueror or tyrant. And thus, this is how we’ve ended up in the situation that we’re in today. The best murderers in the world are the ones in charge of our countries. They don’t care about their people, because if they did, the major problems of the world would have been solved decades ago or never have existed in the first place.

But I don’t want to stray off topic here. I want to keep things simple, because it really is simple. Inner peace is freedom. It is the only salvation on a planet full of chaos and suffering. Find inner peace, and everything else will pale in comparison. You will find that the luxuries you used to care so much about are no longer attractive to you, and the inner silence of meditation and nature are much more pleasant, however, I must warn you: the further you progress on the spiritual path, the more difficult it will be to live in modern culture, since you will naturally become more sensitive as you deprogram yourself from the indoctrination of the Matrix that has been conditioned into you since birth.

This heightened sensitivity will likely result in you not wanting to participate in modern society any more, and this is difficult to deal with, which is why I always say that becoming awakened is both a gift and a curse. It is a gift because you are no longer asleep, but it is a curse because you can never go back to being ignorant again. You can never unsee the truth of the situation in the world, that humanity is a slave race and Earth is a prison planet. That is the silent war, the spiritual war that we must fight and conquer within ourselves, and it is the source of our existential crisis and suffering, because we lie to ourselves every day. We say, this is the way that it is, and there’s nothing we can do about it. We say, not in my backyard. But here’s the thing? We can’t lie to ourselves. We can’t really turn a blind eye to suffering, because we are all connected. We are a part of nature, and just like a human body, when one part of the body is in pain, the whole body suffers. We don’t say, well I have a headache but my arm feels fine, therefore I’m okay. No, we say, I have a headache, so I’m in pain.

If a child suffers across the globe, that suffering is yours too, because that’s a part of you out there. This is what we’ve become disconnected from, because we lie to ourselves. We tell ourselves everything is fine, because our personal situations are fine, but that isn’t accurate. That is irresponsible. The planet is not okay. We as a species are not okay. We are sick, and we need to fix what is broken. We need to become connected again. We need to care about each other again. This is how we change the world, and it has to start now.

We cannot fail like previous generations did. They were weak. They allowed themselves to become co-opted, indoctrinated, and assimilated. We are better than them. We have the technology that they didn’t with the Internet, and we have no excuse. We have to create a better world for our children. We cannot allow injustice and suffering to continue. We are stronger than ever before, and it’s time for society to change, but first we must each find inner peace. We must heal ourselves and deprogram ourselves from our conditioned beliefs.

Thank you for listening.
